“ The atmosphere is great, the red lighting provides a romantic and cozy vibe and the ice cream drinks are delicious. Really appreciate that they can be made vegan as well!! The service is a little slow but understandable as it was busy. Overall a great date night location, can't wait to come back and sit outside. ”

“ I like At Random. It is a great neighborhood spot and the quality of the drinks here is always consistent. I think you'll like it, too. As clearly stated, At Random is a Cocktail Bar. All drinks I tried here had depth and were obviously crafted by someone who knew what they are doing. This has been a consistent experience for me for years now. Ambiance is very dim, romantic in a way. It is a great spot to go on for dates but also with friends. The seating layout is a mix of tables and booths and a bar. The place can get busy so you may not always be able to sit where you want! The outside patio is also great in summer and fall. They have a window for patio orders. Cocktail menu is great, but I would always recommend you talk to your server about what you want and how you want it prepared. Service is great here. It is one of many reasons I like this place. ”

Retro vibes and if you like liquor/sweet drinks, this would be a perfect place for you!! I got Tomorrow’s Plan (ice cream drink) and mmmm that was good! I didn’t really taste alcohol but it was not too sweet and the price was good. The server was very nice and friendly. I wish I lived close to Milwaukee but I live out of state...I would love to come back here next time we come to Milwaukee! They have Christmas lights decorations outside and really look nice! ”
“ Came here for my mom's 64th Birthday and she enjoyed it! They couldn't see the menu, so our very lovely waitress brought them a light. I love the atmosphere, very LGBTQ friendly and such a wonderful bunch of people! Each milk shake is around 14 on average, Well worth the atmosphere! There are also non-alcoholic options for people who don't want boozy drinks. ”
“ Time machine here...At Random. My wife and I lived in Bay View in the 1990s, a block from At Random. Returning now, in 2025, 30 years later - it all felt very much the same inside. Dim red lighting, booth seats, a friendly bar, welcoming staff - and tons of flavorful drinks. We just had dinner at Three Brothers Restaurant a few blocks away, so we opted for Ice Cream Drinks for dessert. Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers and a Grasshopper were ordered and all taste delicious! Step back in time folks, to a quiet, enjoyable "Milwaukee-Famous" location that I'm sure you'll love. ”
